Calling All New Years Project Websites

Many of us have been talking of doing photo projects for the new year.  For example, I will be doing a Photo 365 Project called No Words.  Other’s have mentioned casually that they were doing similar projects – either in comments here at Shutter Photo, on Flickr or via Twitter.  I of course would like to follow as many of your projects as possible, and I’m sure others would like to do the same.  So if you are doing a Photo 365 project, or something similar, reply to to this post and tell us where we can find it.  Feel free to mention your blogs and websites as well.

  • I'm seeing lots of great projects being posted. Keep them coming. I want to post the article sharing all your wonderful sites within the first week of the new year.
  • I'll be starting two projects for 2010: Project 365 and 52 Weeks of Gratitude. I'm excited to start, I want to improve my "seeing things in new ways!"

I'll be posting both projects in my blog, www.mytwoseasons.com. I plan to post every day, hopefully!
  • I am starting a Project365 Photoblog on the 1st.

This project will consist of a photo a day from either my D300s, Holga 135BC, or from my Motorola DROID.

  • FYI - somewhat related, I just joined a Flickr Group run by Simon Hucko called [tob] 52 Weeks. Premise is that each week, you upload your best photo from the week. It will work nicely in conjunction with my 365 project ("No Words", as mentioned above) and serve as more motivation. I expect similar benefits for many of you as well.
  • I'll have to think of something as January 1st is a logical day to start!

Looking froward to seeing what you do.

    Merry Christmas

I'll be posting photos from my 365-er in my flickr stream and probably at my photo blog, Cliffs and Ruins, as well.

  • I started one here http://gilje365.blogspot.com I'm still trying to decide on a solid name and if I want to do 50mm or not, but the resolution is set. :)

    Any ideas/suggestions?

    Hope your holidays are wonderful!

  • I think that anything to get you shooting every day is enough by itself. Limiting yourself in some way...like 50mm...might be a cool idea...but I guess it depends more on your personality. For some, I think the limitation might get the creative juices flowing. For others, it could turn into an annoyance. If I keep it moving throughout 2010...I may set restrictions the following year.
