Help Improve Shutter Photo: 2011 Survey and a Chance To Win Some Stuff

July 11, 2011 / by / 1 Comment

Shutter Photo is, first and foremost, all about you and your needs as a photographer.  Our goal is to provide education, inspiration, wisdom – a mission statement we have lived by for over three years.  As much as we wish we could, we aren’t able to read minds (and our research and development grant were cut, so it won’t be happening any time soon).  Accordingly, we feel we need to conduct a survey every once in a while to get into your minds.  We want to learn about our audience, we want to know who you are.  We want to know what makes you happy and what things would benefit you here at Shutter Photo.  To that end, we have such a survey and we’d like you to participate – it should only take you about 7-10 minutes.

An Incentive:  Giveaways

As a thank you for sharing your thoughts and constructive criticism, we’d like to enter all participants into a drawing to win one of the following (winner’s choice):

Plus… will will give you a year membership to 500px (branded as an “awesome account”), courtesy of 500px.com. If you’re not familiar with the site, 500px is a photo sharing site for real photographers (this prize is available to everyone, regardless of location).

If interested in any of these giveaways, you will have an opportunity to provide an e-mail address at the end of the survey (we’ll get in touch with you if we need your address).

Thanks…

We know and appreciate the fact that we’re here and have been around this long because of readers like you.  This survey is open to everyone, from those who are very new to the site to veterans who have been with us all three years.  We ultimately want to make this a better site for you, and so your thoughts and input are greatly appreciated.
