New Look for Shutter Photo

Posted on 04 June 2010 by D. Travis North

It’s been a long while in the making, but we are finally able to unveil our new website.  We think that the new design will serve our readers well.  But beyond aesthetics, we’ve done a lot of behind-the-scenes work to eliminate many of the plugins that we were using previously.  What that means to you is faster page loads and a better experience.

The new design was based on one of Woo-Themes’s great templates.  It is based on the Original Premium News theme.  There was a lot of tweaks and changes made to the backend and a lot of additional code was added.  That said, we’re pretty confident that there shouldn’t be any problems browsing the site.  But if you have any troubles, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

  • In Firefox 3.6, looks like the photo could use a bit more space - the text is getting a little close. That's my 2 cents
  • Matt, tweaked a few things. How does it look on your end?
  • Thanks. I've already gotten some other feedback via twitter and direct as well. I'm building up a little punch list, and I'll tweak this weekend.

Thanks Matt, and to everyone thus far. I appreciate the feedback.
