Playing With Fire

Posted on 07 January 2009 by D. Travis North

Fire.  Yes, it’s destructive, but it’s incredibly beautiful and a worthy muse to any photographer.  If you’re looking for some inspiration in the new year, consider using fire as a subject.  Not sure how to go about doing so?  Well, you’re in luck.  The Digital Photography School has another great article about doing just that:  Playing with Fire – How To Photograph Fire.  The article, written and contributed by Peter Carey, is a small compendum of how-to’s and tips about capturing all sorts of fire photographs, from a single flame to long exposure shots.  It’s an inspiring article, and I hope you take the time to read it.
