Vanguard is in a giving mood these days.  In addition to the Up-Rise 43 Sling Bag Giveaway hosted by our site, they are also giving away a carbon fiber tripod through Facebook.  The tripod is a Auctus  Plus 323CT Carbon Fiber that can reach a height of 70 7/8 inches (1800mm) and can support 39.7 pounds.  It’s a great tripod for any adventurer. The submission window for the Shutter Photo Anniversary Competition is coming to a close, and the judging will soon begin. But who are the judges, and what can we learn about them? Well, you’re in luck as today we will introduce you to the full panel of judges.

I wanted to inform everyone that we had to change one of the rules slightly.  LensRentals.com, one of the competitions our fantastic sponsors, has a policy that they will not ship internationally and that the rented gear must be returned from a US address.  As such, the gift certificate is essentially useless to those living outside the US.  We have adjusted our rules slightly to note that the LensRentals.com gift certificate will be awarded to the highest placing US resident.  If that resident happens to be the grand prize winner, so be it. Our official competition page has been updated. I apologize for the confusion.  It was not my intent to mislead you.
